305 Rolling Ridge Drive

We bought this house back at the beginning of May this year.  David accepted our shipment of boxes the weekend of Memorial Day.  He lived here off & on through the months of June & July.  The whole family finally moved into the house on July 29th.  We can finally say the house is pretty much put together!  Most of you said “take it one day at a time”, “unpack a box each day”, and my favorite “there is no hurry, you will get it done”.  Well, I could listen to all that advice if I was going to live here forever & I didn’t have 3 little helpers!  BUT I promise you I won’t live here a day longer then 4 years & my 3 “helpers” are NOT helpers!! :)  Our floor plan feels like we are all living on top of each other, which made it hard to just not get it all done.  Olivia still asks daily “When will Grandpa Steve bring us their stairs?”.  The other thing that made this extremely important is the fact that there is absolutely nothing to do here but live & be in our house.  We still have the shed to fill, the garage to go through, & the back yard to deal with.  We also have a few picture frames to fill & a few little things to tweak but all in all the house finally is starting to feel like a home.  A few things we have already done to the house is paint a wall in Sawyer’s room, add cabinet hardware, under & over head lighting in the kitchen, a couple new light fixtures, mount the TV over the fireplace, and build a shed.  We hope to add a wonderful outdoor living space to the backyard if we can get rid of the fire ants!  Here are some pictures of the house.
