Family Vacation
After several long weeks of preparing to sell our home and putting in countless hours at work, we decided it was time for a little family vacation!!! We spent a long time debating...Hawaii...Paris...Tahiti??? We ended up settling on St. George, Utah!
On Monday, we slept in and ended up getting out of the house a little bit later than planned but we were on vacation and that was okay! The drive to St. George ended up taking about 5 hours and it was nice just to relax and enjoy seeing the beautiful Utah landscape. When we finally reached St. George, we checked in to our hotel, went to dinner (at In-N-Out Burger) and did a little shopping at the St. George Outlet Mall. By the time we were done, we were pretty tired, so we decided to call it a night. We had booked a suite so we could have two rooms. The PLAN was for Olivia to sleep in the living room so we could hopefully get some good sleep. So, we got her all ready for bed and put her in the crib (pack-and-play). As we turned to go back to the bedroom...she sprinted by us!!! Apparently, she is now to big for a pack and play!!! She jumped right out! This was not something we planned for. After about an hour of trying to get her to go to sleep, Daddy ended up putting her in the car and driving around the block until she passed out. He then transfered her to the stroller and back to the room. When she woke up a couple hours later, she moved into the big bed with Mommy and Daddy. Overall...it was a pretty rough night, but it was still fun!
The next morning, we got up and had breakfast. After waiting the appropriate 30 minutes after eating, we got our suits on and headed for the swimming pool. It turns out that Olivia is not much of a swimmer. She hated it! She did enjoy putting her legs in the hot tub, though!!!
We checked out of the hotel and continued our drive--next stop: Zion National Park!!!
Zion National Park is AWESOME! We drove through the park and even went on a one mile hike through some pretty difficult terrain. Daddy had Olivia in a backpack, and Mommy had Sawyer strapped to her in the Baby Bjorn. People thought we were nuts. Maybe they were right! The views at the end of the hike were definitely worth it!
After Zion, we drove the rest of the way home and finally got back around 1 am. It was a great trip and we wouldn't change a thing.

Easter
We had a wonderful Easter here in Utah. We woke up and Olivia had a great time looking for Easter eggs that we hid around the house. She is so smart and very observant! After breakfast we headed to church and heard a fantastic sermon! We just love our church! Brian and Tory from across the street also attended with their families! Afterwards they were kind enough to include us in their Easter plans. The weather was nice and sunny and Olivia loved playing outside with all the other kids. They had an Easter egg hunt and Olivia came in a close third with the most eggs collected! All in all we had a wonderful time!
Montana
We were able to go up to Montana and visit for a few days! We got to see so many family and friends, but missed many of you! We will be back though and promise to get to see the rest of you! Here are some pics from our trip. Olivia and Sawyer gained 1/2 lb to a pound while we were there! It must have been all the great food! We had such a great time and can't wait to get back

The Guenthner's Come to Visit!
Grandpa Tim & Grandma Patsy came to Utah to meet Sawyer and play with Olivia. It was so nice to have them down at our house for the weekend. Olivia enjoyed them as playmates and kept them very busy reading, drinking "tea", doing puzzles and playing. We even got to go to a children's museum where Olivia got to play with all the hands on activities. The museum that day was having activities and experiments with chocolate! We all enjoyed ourselves. Here are some pics of their visit!

First Bath
Now that I have had a few minutes to actually get all our photos uploaded on to the computer I can share them with you! Here is some pics from Sawyer's first bath. It was a big event in our house! We had a photographer, videographer, Olivia holder, baby and two nervous parents all in the same bathroom! Luckily it is a big open bathroom! Anyway Sawyer did great! He wasn't a fan at first but once it was done he was so relaxed and content! Olivia wasn't a fan at all! She kept saying "Ut OH" and holding her hand over her mouth crying ohey, ohey, ohey! She hates it when Sawyer cries and did not like seeing his belly button! In the end it was a great event that is very well recorded and resulted in one very good smelling baby!

Sawyer David Guenthner
On Friday we welcomed our newest addition to our family! Sawyer David was born at 1:59 a.m. He weighed in at 6 lbs 15 oz 19.5 inches long. He was a little earlier than expected but is doing well. On Friday, I had a migraine that wouldn't go away. I finally called David home from work and we talked to the doctor. He told us to go ahead and head up to the hospital to get checked out. We all figured I would be home shortly. Olivia went and stayed at the wonderful neighbors house! After being there for a few hours and finding out that I had no pre-eclampsia, they did tell me that I was having regular contractions. The contractions were 2 mins apart, getting stronger, and I was dilated to 5 cm. They decided that it was time to admit me and we were on the way to having our little boy. The rest is history! Olivia is doing great and really enjoying having Grandpa Steve & Grandma Sue here! She gets diapers and does a great job of shoving the binky into Sawyer's mouth. She also has learned to ssshhhhhhhhh him whenever he is busy making noise! Hope you enjoy the pics and I promise to keep the blog updated as much as possible

Getting Ready
We have been busy getting things ready for the new baby to arrive! We have gone through closets trying everything on to see what fits and what doesn't, going to play group, and just playing around the house! But we haven't forgotten to take a few pics of Olivia! Here is some of the pictures we have captured over the last few weeks!
Our last Snow Day!
I thought I had posted some of these pictures but I guess it didn't work! A few weeks ago we had a huge snow day! David got home a little early from work so we all headed outside. Olivia loved the snow and discovered that it is a great snack! Her and David made a big snowman and shoveled the drive way! It was the first time David got to see & play with Olivia in the snow. They had so much fun!
